It is hot here, I can't find internet access and GPRS is costing me 10 pounds a MB. I'm feeling cut off, and I can't be sure that this is even reaching my blog. However I am otherwise enjoying myself - when I get back I'll explain how my mother got told off for being a terrorist.

When I was in Mallorca last year a lot of bars and hotels had public internet terminals that would cost something like 1 euro for 15 - 30 minutes. Internet cafes per se don't seem to be so common now.

wish it was here, as an expat living in Melbourne, we have yawn inducing winters!! no variety, just rain! Love your blog Tom, its like Holby City Uncovered!!! My dad used to be in the NWAS in Chester, so its all kinda familiar yet new! Keep Blogging! (and jogging as well, although statiscally, joggers are my sworn enemies, what with me being an exercise "Early Shunner"! Enjoy the Pom Summer!

Yeah, when me and my girlfriend were in Malaga we met a couple of English guys trying to order chips in an italian restaurant, from a poor woman who didn't have a clue what they were saying. We helped them out, and, after they found out we were from New Zealand, Gaz (the loquacious one) said that he had an uncle that lived in New Zealand for years, and loved every minute of it. Did complain once, apparently.

A pom not whinging when 'abroad'?
