I agree wholeheartedly - honking at an ambulance on a call is crass selfishness and is even worse than my pet hate of able bodies folks who park in disabled spaces (don't get me started!) Tom - this is my first post - I am reading the whole thing right from the start, hence my commenting ona 18 month old posting - and I must congratulate you on your writing and on your humour - even though some of your stories scare me to death (I am a diabetic with CHD and have 2 coronary stents, who now doesn't fancy his chances if and when the "big one" hits) Well done mate - keep it up Steve
