Of course it's a generalisation. I don't know your case, nor do I need to. I think it's selfish of people who continually act up to think there's nothing wrong with them using up all the resources while, as stated in Reynolds' original post, someone who is really in need has to go without. I also think it's wrong of the people running schools and so on to be more focused on rewarding and encouraging the absolute horrors to behave like civilised human beings for half the time, while completely ignoring the ones who act like civilised human beings all the time. Although I suppose it's accurate preparation for the real world. Nice guys come last and all that. I must be less idealistic.
