try the flamed spatchcocked chicken. and up by the point (with one ocean on the left and another on the right), there are some fantastic outdoor cafe/eateries. oh, and you must try the Ceviches, a local seafood dish that is phenomenal. and watch out for that beach-- it's full of sand. nightmare. dammit, i can't remember the name of this phenomenal restaurant in the town behind cancun with the semi-garden and the waiters pouring flames back and forth in front of you.... i'll post it if i remember >:\
