After reading their report of their experiences, it's hard to put my anger into words. In the months ahead there will be plenty of finger pointing, lies and political posturing as people seek to shift the blame onto others and even delude themselves that they did nothing wrong, and did the best they could. Much will be done that will obfuscate the truth. But first hand accounts such as this, written immediately after the events, are the accurate record of what really occured in New Orleans. I wish there was a way that these stories- from real people- could be heard and heard again as the long process of figuring out "what went wrong?" unfolds.
