Re: Wake Up Call
by Anonymous
Speaking as someone whose father suffered a fatal heart attack out of the blue, also aged 42, thanks you for doing what you could. Nothing could have made the day my father died bearable but even being given the chance to adjust to him being critically ill and being able to see him first would have helped. My admiration and respect for EMTs and ambulance crews, in fact for all NHS workers, is immense. A cautionary note to the "oh-shit-i-must-start-getting-fit-cos-i-have-kids-and-a-wife-and-i-don't-want-to-die-young " poster - don't panic yourself into doing too much too soon - my father died playing squash.

Welcome to Random Acts Of Reality, a Blog based in London, England, written by an E.M.T working for the London Ambulance Service. Also, number one search result for "Womble porn". All names have be changed to protect the guilty. This Blog was previously known as "Why I Hate Humanity" but the antipsychotic medication seems to have kicked in.
