That scares me. I really hope I'm able to do what my late great-aunt did - as she became more and more infirm, and with no family nearby (she lives in Germany), she realised a care home would be on the cards, so she spent a few months investigating several and chose herself which one she would prefer. Eventually died in her 90s, peacefully in her sleep, with her pictures and whatnot all around her, and was found the next morning.
