I'll second Paul Fitzgerald on that. I visited such a home a few months ago, and the experience made me very sad and angry. It isn't that I saw people actively mistreated - it was the thoughtlessness, the sheer lack of courtesy. Nice to read these posts and know that many other old folk are loved and looked after.
