I was flying home from Egypt a few years ago during Ramadam. We arrived at the airport, with the usual high security - guards with guns everywhere. An hour later when looking out of the departure lounge windows just as the sun set, all the guards were sitting on the ground having their picnics and chatting happily - guns being completely ignored. I do admire them - I have problems fasting between lunch and dinner!
