I had a call from a lady who had collapsed at a Synagogue yesterday during a service, also fasting related as it was Yom Kuppur (Jewish day of Atonement). I was really impressed with the way it was dealt with by the synagogue. The first thing they did was make her drink and eat to get her blood sugar levels up explaining that health was more important.
