According to The Training Department you are not supposed to do that, although I must admit I do it sometimes too.
I sprained my ankle a while back and all I could think as I was bundled into the (standard, not Big White) taxi was "puff, pant, oh, I see what they mean about 'not breathing normally now', puff, pant, ouch"...
