When living in Hull I had the "luck" to be on the bus that went down the wrong side of the dual carriageway, as the correct side was jammed with traffic following an accident. The driver decided he'd be better off getting there "on time", even though I suspect he had to hose the bus out afterwards from the number of people who shat themselves on that journey...
