Hi Tom,
Personally, I didn't enjoy the post as much as others seem to (and as much I usually enjoy your writing). I think your blog is really entertaining, and informative as a by product of what you write about. I feel changing the purpose to being more informative loses the entertainment factor, but that's just me.
