You know, you are absolutely right... It's weird in that it's one of those ideas that just sticks in your head.
There is an ad campaign in the UK at the moment (to get people to stop smoking) which shows a clot travelling around the body, and I'm guessing that this just stuck in my head.
That and lazy thinking.
