Yes, sympathise with you Tom- eight minutes is insane. Its thirteen in MAS for a code 1 and whilst we usually make it within, the outer lying branches struggle and that drags down the average. We also get hammered for our hospital clearing times- we have 20 minutes from when we arrive at hospital with a patient and when you can sit at triage for 10 mins on occasions there's not much time left for transfer to bed, doing paperwork and cleaning/restocking the truck!
