This post has served as a very timely reminder that I should really seriously be wearing my medic-alert bracelet, because not so long ago, 5mg of morphine nearly killed me, causing a chain reaction of body chemistry that meant that six weeks later, two standard over the counter painkillers (of the type I'd taken fairly regularly during my life up until that point without incident) containing codeine nearly killed me.
