In...oh 12 years or so working for the health service, I would say that roughly... 40% of calls during the day are alcohol related, about 80% at night. 0.000000001% at all times due to dope. (i.e I can only think of two patients in 12 years that I've dealt with due to the use/abuse of cannabis) This excludes any Schizophrenics which may/may not be related to the use of cannabis, but even then it's still a tiny, tiny number. Also we are yet to see a cannabis using older population with all the disease that smoking anything will cause you. But in the long run, I'd rather alcohol be banned and pot legalised, if only because I've never had anyone on pot try to hit/spit/kick/bite me.
