but the soda is sugar, fizz, artificial colourings, e-numbers... contributing to potential diabetes, obesity, digestive problems etc etc. Of course, not every kid who has soda gets those problems, well not every kid with a smoking parent gets asthma, and certainly not to the extent of dying from it. I think the point that was being made above is that not every kid who has asthma, has a smoking parent. Smoking is not the ONLY evil.
