So what are you supposed to do if one the tests comes out positive? Just send them to the doctor or start answering the million and one questions the patient will undoubtedly have? Try and persuade them to do something about it if they don't take it seriously?
You'll end up with target treatment times as well as arrival times.
It sounds like a good idea, but I'm not sure it's appropriate as part of an emergency service's remit.
