Like batsgirl, I'm not sure I understand the question. Your blog identity is only one of your identities - we all have lots (e.g. for you: ambulanceperson, son, brother, friend, colleague etc etc). If telling someone you write the blog isn't enough to make them believe it, surely that's their problem.
