Heh, we don't like the sirens on because they are bloody noisy... Bad enough when one drives past, it's no wonder my hearing is failing because I'm sitting under the bloody things all day. I agree that there are a lot of excellent carers out there, when I did my stint with some District nurses, they were all very professional and had a real rapport with their patients.
