In principle connecting for health is a great idea in practice its going to be very difficult to get it working! It's also costing a lot more than 6.1bn! I think that is just the central money that has been allocated to the project. Each NHS Trust is having to shell out more money to provide infrastructure and for extras which they can't get as part of the standard offering.
