That's really sad and really shit. How can that arrangement be when everyone knows that if there is a complication with a labour then there is usually not very much time to sort it out - both for the mother or the baby? Isn't that tantamount to negligence? What a truly sad ordeal from beginning to end. I hope the mother and baby were ok although I wonder what will happen to them given her outlook on the whole thing. So sad and depressing.
