I don't know about you, but I for one worked before I became ill, and I was under the impression I paid tax and National Insurance so that IF the worst happened - which in my case it did - I wouldn't end up starving on the streets. I don't drink, I don't smoke, I don't have any children or brand-name sportswear or a massive TV... but then I don't read the Daily Mail so I guess I don't know how I'm supposed to behave.
