I bloody love your blog, and I'll probably buy your book. It's brilliantly written. However... I can't handle your use of the word 'gotten'. I really can't begin to tell you how much it upsets me, as an Englishman, to see a fellow Englishman - a really intelligent, literate one - use it in a sentence as though it's ok. It's so, as Americans might say, not ok. Rule Britannia etc...
