I save them all too-even when it's not raining.! still find the sight of a baby snail trying to find it's way across a hazardous road, simply amazing.
To any gardeners that are thinking of killing them-try food instead.I have successfully weaned the snails off my roses and hebes by leaving cat food biscuits out...they do grow an awful lot though...
