SJa has cadet schemes, but BRC doesn't. The reason behind that is because BRC is supposed ot be all about equality etc, so it was felt that they could no longer justify having separate groups.
However, anyone is welcome to join and a 15-year-old would be able to train as a first aider and treat on duty, as long as they were supervised by an adult.
