ICE numbers
by
Stuart Winchester
I know this does not conform to your topic, but I'm not sure where else to post this question on your site. I'm a reporter for Columbia News Service in New York, and I'm writing a story about "ICE" or "In Case of Emergency" number being programmed into cell phones by their users so that emergency personnel will know who to contact if a patient is unable to respond at the scene of an accident.
I am looking for anyone who has a true-life story of any emergency personnel actually using ICE numbers to contact someone. If anyone has any stories to share, please contact me at 646-319-1553 or sjw2121@columbia.edu
Thank you for your time.
