Yes, I thought this too. Even during Ramadan, people still eat - so it's a perfectly valid question regardless of their relgious views. It's only between sun-up and sun-down that Muslims cannot eat, drink, smoke or have sex. However, if fasting would be dangerous for somebody, they are exempted. I cannot see who you could possibly offend by asking "When did you last eat" WMM
