When she was interviewed for the job she didn't turn up in a veil. When a BBC interviewer asked why not she said that she wasn't expecting to be interviewed by a man. How did she know? Interview panels change all the time. Clearly it was OK for her to dump her 'beliefs' in order to get the job, and it is this that strips any semblance of credibility from her argument. As a nurse I have to wear a uniform properly. If I wanted to wear a scarf I could, but if I wanted to wear a veil I'd be looking for another job pdq. Non verbal communication is as vital in my job as it is in teaching. This silly, selfish woman should get her priorities straight.
