Having been where that child has been - albeit at a different time in my life - I know how much courage it actually took for her to come "clean" and tell exactly what was going on at home. I hope she found the help, compassion, and hope she needed and that her days are brighter from here on out. It's a long road ahead. Thank you for taking care of her, thanks to the cops for being mindful... and hopefully she won't be one of those who falls through the cracks of the system.
