Yup, I'm deaf too.. but I can't see 'Tom' going to switch to vlog anytime soon given the size of his audience (=lots of bandwidth) so I suspect its a one-off (I hope!) and it's nice to put a face on the author (apart from the many TV appearances - they don't count).
