Re: Speaking The Lingo
by kevinmillhill
I used to be "British"; I didn't vote for devolution - in fact I voted against it. Despite my heritage, I believe we need less government, not more. Now you are "English" and I am "Scottish". I preferred being "British". (PS, my dad was Irish. He came from Dublin; he joined the RAF in 1938 and was lifted off the beach at Dunkirk in May 1940: in September 1944, at Arnhem, he was shot down and captured. In 1948/49, he spent a year keeping people alive via the Berlin Airlift . In 1954, some twit in Whitehall wrote to tell him (he served in the RAF until 1968) that he needed to fill a bunch of forms in to remain in the UK, or he would be deported). Sorry; bad night; fatal RTA (RTC?) (19 years old) just this side of our mutual border.

Welcome to Random Acts Of Reality, a Blog based in London, England, written by an E.M.T working for the London Ambulance Service. Also, number one search result for "Womble porn". All names have be changed to protect the guilty. This Blog was previously known as "Why I Hate Humanity" but the antipsychotic medication seems to have kicked in.

All opinions on this website are mine alone, and may not reflect those of the L.A.S or other ambulance crews
