Re: Meal-Breaks

Don't let it get to you. It is just selective reporting, and "Ambulance Meal Breaks Will Cost Lives" is a much better headline than "Crews Have Staggered Meal Breaks So That Vehicles Remain Available For Tasking" - which is, of course, the WHOLE story. Furthermore, you're only giving the article more than a passing glance because it contains the word "ambulance", and because you work in the industry. Most readers will skip idly through the story, then move on to the next one - because that's what we all do.
"Today's Headlines Are Tomorrow's Chip Wrappers" is a good headline too. What was the lead story on the first page of the Sun this time last week? I'll bet you can't remember, and that you care even less!!
