Re: Meal-Breaks
by neenaw
It's funny, I was going to post about this too! The whole meal breaks business is causing a right furore in the control room and I've never seen so much ill feeling between crews and control staff. I think it's because Sod's Law is coming into practice and dictating that every time we get a suspended, there's a crew on break 0.1 miles away and no one else for ten miles. I agree with you, though, why shouldn't you have a "proper" break? We all get one (even if it is only half an hour) and I can't think of any other profession that doesn't. I bet the Sun journalists always take their full hour!
