It's those kind of situations that I was referring to earlier when I posted. I am all for giving relatives time to say goodbye, I've had personal experience with that. But as you say that man could have existed in a PVS for years, the lady I mentioned will live out the rest of her life dependent on others for everything. You have to do what you think is right, and what you're legally and professionally bound to do. We all have 20/20 vision with hindsight.
