Soft drinks in pubs, gah. The profit margin on a pint of beer is maybe 50% or 60%. The profit margin on a pint of Coca-Cola is more like 95%. I have no idea what it is on a hot chocolate or cappuccino but I bet it's similar... plus odds are the landlord won't have any trouble/vomit/etc from those of us who are on soft drinks only. Grrr.
