Hi, if our residents, with dementia, do not want food, medication or a bath, we do not struggle with them as this is abusive. They still have the human rights act they are entitled to, so we document everything in there care plans, and speak to the next of kin.You cannot force anyone even those with dementia, to do something they dont want to.
