If this lady was recently in hospital the GP may have a discharge summary confirming hyponatraemia. The GPs knowledge of this patient may have led him/her to believe that she may be more ameanable to an old-fashioned remedy ? If I have a problem with an aspect of somebodies practice I generally prefer to discuss it with them first [if this is possible] before deciding to make a formal report.
