There is another avenue of protest - how about writing to your local MP? After all, they can't kick up a fuss if no one complains...other people have set up a uniform letter for people to print off and sign. This might help increase awareness of the issue, and might be effective in conjunction with a petition or on its own. Is there any hope that someone will scotch this stupid idea at this point, or are we at national role out stage?
