Hey, if you are large (due to food or steroids or anything inbetween) then the ambulance crew need to get you out (a) Safely and (b) Without injuring themselves. Sometimes this takes time. I know I've spent five hours on scene with a large 'un trying to get her out the house safely. It'd be interesting to know more details.
