Personally I thought it was perfectly appropriate, and who knows, maybe when she has sobered up or grown up a bit some of it might just sink in.
I wouldn't dare do your job Tom, I wouldn't be able to contain myself with a line of pointed questions. If I was there I'd worry that by the time they got to A&E they'd definitely be needing it...
