I think you might have answered your own question there Tom. I expect nearly every medical worker out there knew this legislation would result in a bigger workload on the NHS, how giving people more access to alcohol is meant to reduce consumption is beyond me. This study, even if it isnt done across the whole country, needs to be done on a much wider scale. Perhaps someone should start some sort of petition somewhere?
