And of course the medical side of things doesn't even begin to take into acount the traumatic experience of the patients - these people are involved in a traumatic incident which may have left them already in pain, they're then physically restrained and taken to hospital where they're stripped naked, still tied down to the board, and poked and prodded by a whole load of strangers.
