Im sorry but I am not medically minded like many of the other readers of this blog, but surely Tom is right about Home births being much more risky compared to giving birth in hopsital. If your at home and there is complications, you still have to get to hospital before you see a doctor whereas if your in hospital in the first place you will see a doctor much quicker. Like I said im not medically trained as of yet so I could be wrong and anyone out there who disagrees with me will tell me, but that is how I see it.
