I would say that, however little time they waste, they may be taking Tom, or any other ambo, away from a job that needs them NOW. And, with my A&E Doc hat on, I can tell you they waste an awful lot of A&E time, with very inexperienced A&E docs mucking about for hours wondering what to do with them... We need to crack down on these, and find a way of not transporting them.
