So you get a warning if you're sick for more than a week? Does this mean that if you break both legs or end up with bubonic plague you are expected to be off for no longer than a week? Seems a bit silly to me. In fact it seems bloody ridiculous. You'd never get away with an illness policy like that in the private sector!
