"once the solo is on the scene they will make the decision as to the patient needing an ambulance to transport them, or if they need a GP, or can make their own way to hospital."
I assume they will still send an ambulance if the person calling in identifies the patient has something like a broken leg? I know its generally not life threatening, but a solo responder turning up to this isn't going to be much help apart from gving pain relief while they wait for an ambulance!
