1. My career path began with a journalism scholarship, changing to sociology/criminal justice, emergency medicine, auditor and now a senior administrator in a large health system. 2. I look rather schizo from an iPod perspective where you'll find everything from Alice in Chains, Metallica, Elton John, Pavarotti, Santana, BB King, Mozart, The Gossip, Broadway show tunes, Cajun Zydeco and everything inbetween. 3. When visiting family in Louisiana, Hurricane Katrina hit. Despite living through many very bad hurricanes in my life, this one terrified me. 4. London is my favorite city. 5. While on vacation at a 5 star resort in St. Martin this past June, I managed to gracefully stumble up the stairs and sustain a spiral, displaced fracture of my middle metacarpal requiring surgery. (My first bone break ever - and hopefully the last) 6. My first limousine ride ever was after the above mentioned graceful fall when the resort insisted I take it to the hospital. 7. Photography is my passion. I'm not sure I'm very good but I love it. 8. I've bought a new digital camera every year for the past 5 years. "Is 12 megapixels overkill?" (See above) 9. I have had two full-time jobs for the past 11 years; one at the health system and one on the internet managing online communities from home. 10. I have approximately 250 cookbooks from around the world yet I have very little time to cook. I'm beginning to give them away.
