Sounds like your bog standard, everyday 'psyche' nurse. Met a few, worked with a couple, never impressed. Every single one I came across was highly opinionated and absolutely sure that no matter how irrational their contentions, it was the God's honest truth. They were right, and never let the facts get in the way. What made me concerned was the way they'd make something up without recouse to reality and forcefully insist that it was 24 carat truth. I made the mistake when I was young and foolinsh, of going out for a drink with a few Mental Nurses one night when I was working in a hospital. Never, ever again. They had a very odd sense of cringe making 'fun', and couldn't seem to get their heads round the fact that they weren't at work. The memory of that evening still makes me shudder. In fairness I suppose working with the irrational, day in day out, can kind of kick your ability to tell insanity from sanity into touch.
